Facility Rules
No Food or Drinks Allowed Inside the Gym
Water bottles only. No exceptions. This is a school facility β please help us keep it clean.
Food may be consumed outside on the lawn area. Tables are available.
Nets may be set up outside for kids and siblings to play.
Concessions will be available on-site.
Please clean up after yourself β trash cans are available inside and outside.
No marking on walls or floors. No tape, signs, or banners without approval.
Game Rules
Pool Play
2 sets per match, rally scoring to 17 points
Cap at 19 points (no win-by-2 after 19)
Teams switch sides between sets
Standings determined by: set wins β point differential β total points scored
Bracket Play
Single elimination β 1 game to 25 points
No cap β must win by 2
Home team (higher seed) chooses side or serve
Winner advances, loser is eliminated
Player & Coach Conduct
Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times β shake hands before and after every match.
Respect all officials, opponents, teammates, and spectators.
Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their players and team spectators.
Only coaches may address officials. Players may not argue calls.
Profanity, taunting, or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in a yellow card (warning) or red card (ejection from the match/tournament).
Teams must be ready to play at their scheduled time. A 5-minute grace period is allowed; forfeiture after 10 minutes.
Non-playing teams assigned as work crew must report to their court on time for officiating duties.
Spectator Guidelines
Cheer positively! Support your team without demeaning opponents.
Do not address officials, coaches, or players from the stands regarding calls or playing time.
Noisemakers (air horns, cowbells, etc.) are not permitted inside the gym.
Keep walkways and exits clear at all times.
Small children must be supervised β they may not run on or near the courts.
Tournament staff reserves the right to ask anyone to leave for disruptive behavior.
Spirit of the Game
This is a developmental tournament. Weβre here to compete, have fun, and grow as athletes.
Win with grace, lose with dignity, and remember β these kids are watching us.
